Bespoke Picture Framing
Our signature service. We design and construct custom timber frames for original drawings, photography prints, watercolours, and documents. Choose from a library of solid wood mouldings, including premium natural oak, deep ash, walnut, and gold gilt profiles.
- Mouldings: Solid timber, acid-free stains, hand-waxed or painted finishes.
- Matting: Cotton-rag conservation board, acid-free conservation core (neutral pH to prevent yellowing).
- Backing: Fluted conservation barriers, moisture-resistant sealing layers.
Sports Memorabilia Box Frames
Protect and display your jerseys, signed boots, gloves, and medals. We construct 3D shadowbox frames with custom interior depths to hold objects securely without flattening them. Our pinning process uses archival stainless-steel pins to ensure that signed jerseys are not stretched, glued, or damaged.
- Object Mounting: Reversible, stitch-pinned, and custom-formed internal backing.
- Depth Profiles: Box recesses from 20mm to 100mm depending on memorabilia size.
- Display Styles: Multi-aperture mats to display match tickets, photos, and descriptive plaque cut-outs alongside the item.
Canvas Stretching & Printing
Whether you have rolled canvas prints purchased abroad or original oil paintings on loose fabric, we stretch them over select kiln-dried pine wood stretcher bars to prevent warping. We also offer custom floater frames (tray frames) that leave a clean shadow gap around the edge of the canvas, giving your art a floating gallery look.
- Stretching: Gallery wrapping (image wrapped around edges) or white/black canvas borders.
- Stretcher Bars: Heavy-duty, kiln-dried Swedish pine with tensioning wedges.
- Floater Frames: Minimalist outer tray frames in oak, charcoal, and gold finishes.
Conservation Glazing (UV Protection)
Ordinary window glass lets in UV light that destroys pigment molecules, causing signed jerseys to fade and prints to wash out over time. We offer industry-standard Tru Vue conservation glass, which blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays. We also supply anti-reflective glazing which eliminates glare, making the glass virtually invisible.
